How many days do you work in a year?

Let’s see: from 260 weekdays a year, subtract 10 Federal holidays, ~3 closures due to inclement weather, 26 days of annual leave, and 13 days of sick leave. Looks like I’m down to 208.

Didn’t used to use all the sick leave, but between actually being sick a few days a year, having to stay home with the Firebug when he’s sick, bereavement leave, doctors’ appointments, and so forth that can be charged to sick leave, I’ve been using up my SL as fast as I earn it lately.

52 weeks x 5 days = 260 potential work days
Minus 8 public holidays in the UK = 252 work days
Minus 32 days leave (22 standard, 10 salary sacrificed) = 220 work days
Average of 5 days sick leave a year = **215 **work days

Every friggin’ one of them, it seems. I’m self-employed.

Seriously, I don’t think a day goes by that I don’t wind up doing something business related.

Probably about 115. Typically rostered 2-3 days per week, but then have a few sick days and a week or two of leave.

5 days/week, 8 (yeah, right) hours/day.

If I took all my allotted PTO I would be at 214 days/year. In reality I work 235 and carry over 3 weeks of vacation.
