Pardon my posting, but I was wondering…I’ve seen lists on Snopes, and in the “Behind the Ears” books by Koenig, that list the various people who’ve died (In accidents and fowl play) at Disneyland. What the lists don’t mention, however, is how many people have died at Walt Disney World (Aside from a couple of off-hand mentions in that case), or even Euro Disneyland or Tokyo Disneyland. So, does anyone know how many unfortunate incidents took place at those other parks? If any?
And BTW, I’m not planning a Disney boycott, or anything. It’s just my morbid curiosity acting up again.

A few months ago, a tourist’s body was pulled from one of the lakes at Walt Disney World. Apparently, he had a heart attack on a boat, fell into the water, and was discovered a few days later. I don’t have a cite, but you might be able to check the online archive at http://www.orlandosentinel.com.
Oh no, Donald is at it again!
Nah, he’s just being goofy.
I have always had a theory that people that go missing around here end up at Disney World. Those animatronics are just too creepy to be robots…
Here’s two:
From the Feb. 15, 1999 Florida Times-Union:
Disney World custodian killed in fall from cable car. Machinery started unexpectedly
“ORLANDO – A Walt Disney World custodian plunged 40 feet to his death yesterday morning after clinging to the outside of a rising cable car that had swept him from a platform. It was the second accidental death at a Disney theme park in less than two months. A tourist at California’s Disneyland was killed in an accident on Christmas Eve. Raymond Barlow, 65, was on a platform for the Skyway in Fantasyland when the cable-car ride was switched on for the park’s opening, sending one of the gondolas toward the part-time worker.”
From the May 18, 1995 USA Today:
“DISNEY DEATH: Authorities in Orlando, Fla., are trying to determine what killed 4-year-old Linda Elaine Baker, found unconscious on the Body Wars ride at Walt Disney World. Preliminary autopsy results showed Linda, of Galveston, Texas, didn’t die from trauma from the ride.”
