How many dopers are straight and fighting ignorance since 1973?

My father has been straight since 1977, but unfortunately he still can’t donate blood because he spent too much time in the UK in the 1990’s.
Well, not me, as I’ve only been around since 1975. 
I’ve been straight since 1967, but there was that brief curious period in the early 80’s. As far as fighting ignorance, I prefer to just stick my head in the sand and pretend that I don’t need to know the stuff I don’t know.
I was rather crooked in 1973.
I experimented with stupidity in the mid-80s when I moved to San Francisco.
I grew up outside Chicago and seem to remember the column in the 70’s.
Been straight since '66, though since I’ve never tested the waters I suppose in reality I’m living a life of ignorance. 
Hmm. My first boyfriend was in kindergarten, but that was 1974. Close enough to count?
I haven’t been straight since I was 11 years old. That was slightly before 1973. Then I got curves. The other girls were jealous of my curves, the boys wanted to feel my curves. Curves never really go away, but they do head south. Back then they were smooth, tight, firm curves, now… not so much. I prefer my men straight though.
Fighting ignorance - I live my life in such a normal (boring) way that people are shocked to find out that this I am a Pagan, cougar, mud shark. Makes them reconsider their views on religion, age and interracial dating.
