How many dopers are there? Lets find out.

Number E.
Oh wait, I meant 206. I think. I hope.

207, wheee!

208-ish

Sure. 209, I suppose. Joy.

210?

211, unless there’s a simulpost

I’d be 212 then

#213, that’s me!

Bah, 214!

215… That’s me. Good ol’ number 215.

There are so many ways that can be taken!

216… and still counting strong I see.

217…I hope there’s free beer at the end of this line.

Holy crap. What depths of hell did this come back from

I was keeping count a while back, even had a a nice little spreadsheet and all but too busy to do it now.

Mods. are these big long threads a no-no nowadays ???

If so you know what to do better than me. If no let the counting continue.

Not gonna wade through the five other pages to find out, but am I the first person to point out that this is really just a census of “people who come into MPSIMS and happen to notice the thread 'cause it’s on Page 1 and feel like posting”? So your statistical base is skewed.

Whatever.

We’ll extrapolate later.

If you’re some kind of statistician, could you help me prove that Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is fixed? Here’s the empirical evidence: Two of the five “millionaires” (only one really after taxes, but that’s a different can of worms) know each other, and two of the five this week; the same week that another trivia type show and a national campaign for a fast-food chain debuts. What are the odds? Should congressional oversight commitees be notified?
