Me. I only have one. Down through the years I’m sure I might have had a half-dozen or so. They never last. I always get bored with them, forget the passwords and I always end up redirecting them to my primary account anyway (Yahoo!) which is the one I’ve had the longest. I’ve even stopped using Outlook. I haven’t even set up my email account with my ISP.
Shoot, I forgot about my Gmail account. That makes 3.
To add on to what Seven and TimeWinder said, if you have a Gmail account, you can do what they’re talking about. If you have yourname@gmail.com, register at the SDMB as yourname+sdmb@gmail.com. NYTimes gets yourname+nyt@gmail.com, and so on.
If spam starts arriving at one of those, just junk all incoming emails to that address.

I have an infinity of accounts for each of the domains I own, but apart from that, I have one for each ISP, one GMail, and three work addresses.
One thing I do when submitting an email address is to use the subscribee as the name - a slight variation on the idea mentioned earlier. For instance, I’m sdmb@oneofmydomains.
I have two for school - one was supposed to be removed from the system, oh, July 1, but it’s still around, and I suppose it will be indefnitely. I switched to the second because of the terrible amounts of pretty narsty junk mail I was receiving.
I have a gmail account, and a yahoo account. I think I have an email through insight, at least potentially, but I’ve never tried it.
So - 4 or possibly 5, but only one that I use regularly.
- My AOL account is my promary, but I also have 4 MSN accounts for my RPG characters. Oh , and I have a Yahoo account that I have never even looked at. I am sure it’s full of jumk mail :P.
My work account is the one I use for everything.
One with my ISP (Qwest) which I never use.
One AOL account I’ve kept for dial-up access when I’m on the road.
Another AOL account that my wife uses, but I have a screen name, which I never use.
So I guess I have four.
I’m the mail administrator for three different companies, and I monitor the admin accounts for those and occasionally send notices to users, but they’re not really my accounts, I never use them for anything that relates to me.
