I pay for two because my wife and I belong to separate gyms and use them both regularly, but we also just signed up for Crossfit. So even though it’s not technically a gym in the traditional sense (where you can go and do your workout of choice), I’d say I pay for four memberships for physical exercise and training.
Zero. It’s in my house.
One, but I’d probably have a second if my apartment complex didn’t have a fairly decent workout room. Much more convenient than having to drive downtown to work out on weekends (since I normally work out at lunch, my regular gym is near work…).
THE GYM IS COMING FROM UPSTAlRS!!!
Just one, a membership at the YMCA. I primarily use it for running on the treadmill during the winter months, when running outdoors at 6 a.m. is too ridiculous even for me. As a result, during the summer, I’ll often go weeks without setting foot in the Y.
One too many.
0, my company has a gym that I use but no membership is required.
I have two and a half. One I don’t pay for (at the base bym) one at the YMCA (family membership) and I sometimes pay drop in at another gym nearby since they have some CrossFit specific stuff that the Y doesn’t have. The base gym is a far drive, so it’s not always convenient.
I’ve got a third of one. I typically work out at home or run outside, but during Chicago’s winters I hate running so I join a gym for about 4 months (November-March) and run on their treadmills.
Zero.
In that case, you might want to rephrase the question.
