I want to get a data plan for my phone but pretty much all I’ll be using it for is to check prices of stuff I find at thrift stores on Ebay. No music or video. So, maybe reading the news, weather, and ebay, that’s it. How many MBs or GBs do I need per hour or day?
YMMV, but I use about 1 GB/month, primarily surfing the internet. It really depends on how much you surf, but I would think 1GB/month would be a good place to start. All carriers that I’m aware of have an app to check your usage on the fly, so make sure you keep track so you can adjust if necessary.
