How many miles does your car have?

1970 F100 Ranger - 32,000 on the odometer, but no idea what the first digit is.

Denise,

He only drives 5 miles, round trip, and that is up tenfold from before! Wow! I think the least I’ve every driven has been about 15 miles round trip. I think my average is probably closer to 50 miles round trip. But, then, I have always preferred to live in the country.

I don’t think a lease will ever work for me.

Superbee, my husband would LOVE to have your truck.

Got a 97 Chevy Blazer here, and I think it has about 70,000 miles on it.

'95 Civic with 112,000 miles and going strong. Had 36,000 when I bought it from my mom, who bought it from my boss when it had 10,000 on it. It’s nice to know where it’s been since it was new.

1994 Escort Wagon (a bit hit with the babes :D) with 122K+

Had a '74 Beetle with close to 200,000, but had to sell it when the rust content passed the 50% mark.

3 week-old 2002 Mustang GT: 2,800 miles already, God I hate commuting.

2001 Honda Civic. Just turned over 11,000 miles. I’ve had it since June 2001.

Prior to that, I had a 1988 BMW 325is. It had 196,000 miles on it when I sold it.

Let’s see…

'67 Mustang, the odometer has rolled over three times since we got it back in the mid 80’s. I have no clue as to if it rolled over before we got it, nor what the orginial milage was. (Anyone know how many miles it’d take to do so?) I don’t have the car sitting next to me (which is good, I’m on the third story of a building at the moment), so I can’t check what the current milage is, but I think we’re half way to rolling it over, again.

<< Whee! >>

You guys are all pikers

Irv is the man

'80 Toyota Corolla/Tercel (the were the same model that year) with more than 200,000 miles. I’m the second owner. Alas, it lives far away from me now. No one’s taking good care of it, and for the first time it’s starting to have some mechanical problems.

Those of you with a rebuilt engine don’t count, right?

94 Suzuki swift. 108,500. It had 6900 on it when I bought it in 1996.

Yes we do! 1980 Ford Courier (hey, stop laughing!) I think it has gone 238,000 miles, but it might be 338K for all I know (it has only clocked over twice since my wife’s family got it.) I rebuilt the engine 28,000 miles ago.

1996 Olds Cutlass Ciera, about 146000 miles. Bought it with 96000 about two years ago.

'95 Saturn SL1 with 126,000.

1985 BMW 735i, 101,000 miles. 2nd owner - bought it in 1998 with 66,000 miles. Scouting out a newer one now, but that may take a little while. It’ll have to be another BMW, just so Arnold doesn’t lose his bearings.

1996 Tercel, 141 000 kilometers this week - its due for another bloody oil change. But I need to get my winter tires put on too, si I might as well get it done all at once.

I plan on running this car way way WAY into the ground, so ask again in a few years

I had a 1988 Nissan Puslar I sold with 120,000 I put on it in three years, bought new. My old '87 300ZX had 220,000 when I sold it for $700, the ex bought it new, I got it in the divorce, and sold it in 2001. Now my 97 Firebird has 70,000.

I have a 1996 Peugeot 306 with about 80,000 kilometers on it. That’s about 55,000 miles.

I live in a small country.

I’m the second owner. When I bought it in 1999, it had only done 26,000 km.

I’ve got a '97 Saturn that just turned 100K last week.

Oh, and while I could drive this thing for another 5 or 6 years, I’m probably selling it in about 6 months when I get a company car. Kind of unfortunate, I like it a lot. It’s very well maintained, and extremely reliable. But you can’t have two cars in Amsterdam. One parking permit per household.
