How many miles on your car?

190Kish on the 1999 Toyota Sienna; 100Kish on the 2005 Hyundai Elantra.

'08 Altima, 41k.

'03 Odyssey, 120k.

99 Chevy Silverado 229951 miles on it as of this morning.

Is anyone else here starting to see a pattern with GM/Chevy products?

'96 Corolla, 120K

All the vehicles in this household

'97 Ford Aerostar - just over 230K - bought new
'01 New Beetle - 165K - bought new
'04 Crossfire - 81K - bought 3 years ago with 22K on it
'06 Scion xA - 70K - bought new

We almost always live far away from everything

Me, too. I live 13 miles from a store of any type and 25 from a town that has anything other than high-price convenience stores.

To go anywhere is a 26-mile round trip. And that includes my son’s school and all related activities.

'04 Toyota Sequoia: 60,000

'10 Ford Fusion Hybrid: 2,000 (just bought it, I drive 75 miles a day for work)
'67 Mustang: Hmm. Odometer reads around 50,000. That shows about 20,000 on top of a used engine I dropped into it in '99 that had 11,000 on it supposedly. The car is a bit of a beater, not a show car at all. So the question is how many times has the odometer wrapped?

Past fleet:
'98 Lincoln Continental: 60,000 (just donated it to charity)
'87 Nissan Pathfinder: 150,000 when the transmission blew for the 3rd time. Donated it to charity.
'90 Honda Accord: 150,000 when the repair bill was higher than the blue book. Traded it for repairs to the Pathfinder.

2000 Hyundai Tiburon, bought new: ~35,000 miles

'97 Grand Marquis, 179K
'08 Yaris hatchback, 39k
'09 Ranger, 7k

still breaking it in, a '92 with 94K

my '62 has 108K

My 2005 Corolla has ~62,000 miles on it (except they’re kilometers - 100,000 of them  ). We drive it everywhere - the longest trip so far has been to Chicago and back.

Forgot to say: Acura Integra 1997

My Honda, bought in May, 2007, just passed 9500 km (a bit less than 6000 miles). Nearly half of that is driving between Montreal and NY (five RTs). Its predecessor had 105,000 km after 17 years but a lot of that was put on by my son during summer vacation.

I have a 1997 Escort with 118k miles. I got it in 2003 when it had around 80k miles on it. That’s almost exactly 5k/year.

2008 Hyundai Elantra, bought new: 37,500
2003 Honda Odyssey, hand-me-down from parents: 67,000 (it had about 45,000 when we got it last summer. Dad drove it about once a week)

2001 Taurus 101,532.

2007 pt cruiser, bought used with 40k miles about a year ago. Now has about 58k miles

2004 Ford Sportrac has 88,000 miles on it
1994 Miata has 38,000 miles on it.

We take the ferry to work and really don’t drive all that much.

1997 Lexus SC300, 181,000 Miles on it, when I bought it in 2004 it had around 80K.
