If the posts by Mods do not state that the post is official, then it is simply a matter of a poster who happens to be a Mod responding to idiocy.
They would wait that long if it only developed after they began breaking a rule and being dinged for it.
I don’t care about the technical aspects of the extension. That is irrelevant. The very first time your extension caused your post to break the rule, you were noted for it. When you continued to use the extension, even though it continued to cause your posts to be violations, that was the very nature of “insisting.”
I am glad that you have removed the silly thing. Now we can go back to ignoring you except when you make ridiculous posts that invite rejoinders. (For example, I have responded to your OP in this thread, pointing out that it is stupid, unworkable, hateful, and counterproductive to the goals for which it was proposed, but I have no interest in driving you from the SDMB. Having a poster who provides Trump-like comments provides the opportunity to refute the nonsense on which they are based.)

We were discussing your persecution complex. The only way a mod could persecute you would be in an official capacity. On any other occasion, the Mod would be simply one poster among many noting your nonsense.
It has been noted for years that the extremes tend to look a lot alike. References to the ways in which the extreme Right and extreme Left are barely distinguishable in their misuse of power, tendency toward corruption, and tendencies to abuse people are frequent; (Blair’s Law, Horseshoe Theory, etc.)
While you may oppose the man, Trump, your suggestions, the “logic” behind your suggestions, and your general temper and demeanor are all quite Trump-like. That you fail to recognizer that is simply one more indication that it is true.
This is getting really tiresome, but I’ll try to spell it out one more time:
(1) A bunch of mods make it crystal clear that they are incensed by the opinions I’m stating, but can’t actually do anything official in response to a civilly presented opinion.
(2) At around the same time, some very ticky-tack fouls are called on me in other threads by some of the same mods. One PMs me to say that the mods have been talking about me “off board” and have decided on a “zero tolerance” policy.

We can take your insistent denial, and your mocking of my alleged paranoia or “persecution complex”, as a given, or you can go ahead and state it. But let’s not hide behind these non sequiturs about whether various posts were or were not official warnings. They establish motive, is what I’m saying.

Well, that is certainly the best evidence that I have seen that your persecution complex is nothing more than your paranoia.
Every poster who employed the “Drumpf” extension that changed a quote has been given a Mod Note to stop it. A couple of posters, (you clearly among them), who have continued to use the extension after Mod Notes on the subject, have been given Warnings. You are the only poster who persistently used the extension after multiple Notes and then continued after multiple Warnings.
I have seen no change in your ideas or beliefs in the several years you have been posting, and the only Mod actions taken against you have been for specific actions in which you were treated in an identical fashion to other posters engaged in the same behavior. (Well, not exactly identical: at least one poster was given a Warning after fewer Mod Notes than you received before your first Warning.)
Whining about Mod actions when one has been treated no differently than other posters indicates only the level of paranoia that you have chosen to embrace while saying nothing to actually demonstrate the persecution that you erroneously claim is directed against you.
