How many of you are there?

Well over 99% of google hits for my username spring from either my activity on the internet or the “Doc” Smith character I drew my username from.

Looks like a couple in games but with my name its hard to sift through all the general references.

There are many Dallas Jones’. One is a relatively famous guy in Texas. Ed Zotti/Cecil once asked me if I was that guy.

No. Dallas Jones is simply the name of my cat.

So you have two different user names for the SDMB? Is that what you’re saying?

My name is Legion.

(3 letters doesn’t exactly create anything unique.)

I am truly one of a kind. But you knew that, didn’t you?

Hmm.
There seems to be a second Dr Fidelius on Twitter.

Heck, you can buy 10 pound bags of me at any grocery store around the world.

All I find are ads for parts & something called the shut peddler

The only place I have tried to register my user name but was told that it was already taken is Twitter.

Evidently, there is a snowthx on Twitter and I think one on Instagram - neither of those are me (as I do not have an account on either).

I am a unique individual (just like everyone else).

Liar! I, the seventh CCitizen was created today. Still not banned. Today’s exchange, I will be. But still there are seven of us!

There are many of me. I write down all their passwords in a notebook.

I, CCitizen is present on several forums. But on games there are several of me. The oldest of me is from 2004. Many Runescape players were not born yet.

OUCH!

I am Cyber Citizen.

I am not a Cyborg – this is the stage of Human Evolution no one has reached yet!

Mine doesn’t seem to be used anywhere. However, I only use this name here and no one else is using it anywhere else.

My previous name, TokyoPlayer, is more popular and is used by many people.

No one besides me has multiple user names.

Sometimes we argue. One of us wants me to work, the other to read Twitter, the other to play Runescape.

I made up this username originally in 1995, when I wrote and drew a comic strip for a local newspaper. When I got online soon after, I deliberately chose this name because I thought nobody in their right mind would have it elsewhere nad it would be safe to pick wherever I signed up. And this has been absolutely true.

…until I tried to sign up for Flickr about 15 years ago and it was taken by someone who had been using it as his nickname for ten years longer than I had. This has been my only encounter with him, he mostly stuck to sites about wine so we didn’t really clash, but I haven’t seen any notice of him since then either, he seems to have faded away from the internet.

I make the claim that any other lingyi out there, especially the ones that post really stupid stuff isn’t me. And ummm…the lingyi that posts really stupid stuff on THIS forum isn’t really me either. It’s my evil, stupid brother…ummm yeah…that’s it!
