I have 2. Sulu is a big grey cat who just stares at me a lot and wonders why I am moving about in his world. Uhura is a smaller calico, who loves to either sleep on my hip or next to me at night. I wouldn’t mind except when she’s right next to me and starts to groom, her whiskers tickle and wake me up. You can see their pictures here, ,along with my doggies who now live with my ex-wife.
Two cats in My home, or am I the one human in theirs???
Both are very small farm cats.
Aries, she’s all black with white brows and a small white tuft on her throat. She’s Attack Killer Commando Cat as well.
Comet, she’s a motley group of oranges and black and brown… and she just doesn’t understand cats are supposed to land on all fours. She falls off the couch while sleeping in the center of it sometimes. She cant leap gracefully the way Aries can, she rather stumbles and flops around the house. Very cute, she’s the Slut Cat, nibbles and kisses everyone she meets while Aries hides and crouches in corners planning an attack on guests…
Tymp, I’ll help you with the vB code:
She is just affectionately known as Jabba (she’s a tad overweight), her real name is Nefertiti.
All of the above are polydactyls except Einstein.
Oh, they’re both simply beautiful! Great cats, Opus1!
Just one…a gray & white Cornish Rex, although he demands the attention of a dozen.
I have two: Pippin, who’s a brown and white tiger tabby monster (18 lbs. and muscular) and Coppelia, who’s jet black, chubby and whines. I used to have Poseidon (tuxedo) and Calliope (pure black), who are Coppelia’s brother and sister, but had to give them to my parents, who thank me daily.
We have two.
One black, mink-soft neutered male with a small white spot on his chest named Sardine. Other names: Mr. Kitty, Mr. Pants (his hindquarters look like he’s wearing bloomers), Stinkabeast (he farts bad), Mr. Happy (he farts when he gets happy for some reason)Fuzzhead, Blackabeast. He is the biggest lap cat. I really think he’s more of a dog than a cat 'cause he follows us around and wants to be ON or near us at all times.
The other is a neutered female, tortiseshell named Anchovie. Other names: Annie (mostly this one), Creepy, Thunder Buffalo (she sounds like a heard of cattle when she runs up the stairs), Chubster, Cow Kitty, etc. She weighs about 1.5x as much as Mr. Kitty and regularly shows him whose boss. She also has this special Chatter Death Ray (like when they chatter at birds) that she uses on us when we peek in on her and ask her what she’s doing. She talks.
Mr. Kitty we got from the Humane Society and Creepy I got as an abandoned kitten at my office building.
I have many responses here:
Slow: your cat is adorable - he looks exactly like the cat I grew up with, Strawberry, a big, fat mouser who lived to be 20 or so. ::sniff:: I miss that ol’ fat beast!
Boscibo: where do you live? Your “Picture of the Day” looks remarkably like my backyard!
Tally: adorable! When we adopted our abandonded kitten (she fit in my husband’s shaving kit!), Mr. Kitty came and started licking her right away and she hissed at him. My husband calls him “Mr. Mother”.
I wish I could put up pictures but I don’t have a website. They both like to crawl under the covers with us and sleep when its cold out.
Five cats:
Annie, Hootie, Happy, Cherokee, Angel.

I have two boys that we rescued from the pound 9 years ago. They were each hamster sized when we brought them home. They are both all black with green eyes. Nobody else can tell them apart. Their real names are Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, but my roommate at the time decided the names were too long for such tiny kittens, so they are now known as Rabbit and Gun-Shy.
Rabbit has bunny feet and was very bouncy as a kitten. Gun-Shy is the water conservation cat. If the toilet runs he’ll sit in front of it and cry until somebody jiggles the handle. Same thing with drippy faucets.
We’ve got just one little kitty. She’s three years old, and named Wiley after Wil E. Coyote due to her habit as a kitten of running into walls at full speed.
I have a very large (and still growing I think) 2 year old calico female named Frankie. She’s very affectionate, very playful, generally goofy and I love her to death!
Click here and then click on “photos” in the upper menu bar to get a load of the kitties in my life.
The top one is Zazou the Wonder Kitty, my very cute but apparently brain-damaged fur, about whom you have likely already heard. Then there’s Little’un, my roommate’s cat and Zazou’s playmate and occasional victim. Finally there is Rosie (full name Rosarita Dolores Fuertes de la Cabeza), my parents’ ancient and foul-tempered cat whom we all love very much.
I’ve clicked on every single one of your damn links so you bloody well better click on mine!
Sorry: click here
We lost one 2 weeks ago…have two left. Our house is heartbroken. I’m going to remember all of you guys, any friend of a cat is…well, you know.
I’ve got two, too! You can see them here.
I have one cat, Ripley. She’s small even though she’s full-grown and very timid. Doesn’t like to be held, but sleeps on top of me every night.
My other cat, Grover, died last Christmas. He was big, black, tempermental, and very affectionate (to me!).
He scared the heck outta my roomates!
You can see poor quality images of them both here:
Growing up, we had a cat that got leukemia and had to be put to sleep. About 13 years later, when I was in college, one of our cats had a large growth in his back and, a few months after surgery, had to be put to sleep. In both cases, it’s a sad, sad thing to see and do, but also, as much as I loved them, it was the best thing for them at that point. Incontinence, diarrhea and slowness of movement gave lie to the quality, or lack thereof, of the cats lives. I wish you and Lela the best, and a peaceful resolution, either way.

Hey, Upham, when you take over the world, will ya do something about http://www.amihotornot.com for me?
I posted a pic of my darlings there at
http://www.amihotornot.com/r/?eid=K8EEKM&key=VVT
but they tell me it is not appropiate.
Harrrruumph to them I say. Kitty pics are always appropriate in my opinion.
