[qualifier]My numbers above were percentages, not scores[/qualifier]
I got a 67/147 (45.6%). The only time I’ve ever studied Africa was in 9th grade, and I had a terrible teacher, so it didn’t exactly stick. I feel terrible now. pouts
55/84 (65.5%) on Asia. Again, studied it in 9th grade with bad teacher. I feel even more terrible. I didn’t even know where freaking Vietnam was. Of course, the Vietnam War is part of that 50 or so year void which I have, for some reason, never studied.
18/24 (75%) on Australia. Then again, there weren’t that many places to pick from, so I did a lot of lucky guessing.
24/39 (61.5%) on Canada. I feel really pitiful.
20/72 (27.8%) on the Caribbean. Ouch.
39/42 (92.8%) on Central America. But see, I take Spanish.
85/111 (76.6%) on Europe. And I just had to know that last year. Damn. flogs self
65/87 (74.7%) on the Middle East. Ack.
34/39 (87.1%) on South America. Yay for rapidly-fading-from-my-mind Spanish class geography lessons.
150/150 (100%) on USA. Thank God. :o
32/33 (97%) on World (missed the Arctic Ocean the first time, gah.)
Total: 589/828 = 71.1%
I am a miserable failure.
71…ugh
I gave up halfway through. I wasn’t doing any worse than most people, but I would have done better a few years ago when I was taking a Politics of Africa course.
I went to console myself by taking the US test, but only got a 141. Stupid little states. Why do we have a bunch of little states? To confuse people from the big states, I tell you what.
Oh, oh, oh. I got a 100% on Canada, though. Go me. Thank you, Canadians, for arranging your country into a small number of large provinces. Someone (hint, hint, New Englanders) should have taken a cue from this.
126, which is better than I’d expected.
Still not as good as it should be. I’m bookmarking this to see how flodjunior does. I bet he beats me but good :smack:
I got 66, so I feel like a racist. I had no luck going on that one… I kept getting Cameroon over and over when I was looking for other countries, but I couldn’t find the ones I was looking for. But honestly, I want to complain to the management. That’s just too many countries for one continent. Look at us in North America! We’ve got it down to a nice, efficient THREE countries. Hard to screw that up.
I did ace the USA, though.
I readily admit geography is horrible. Good Site, I’m bookmarking it.

I never said I guessed wrong on that one. I suppose we can file that one under “guessing the obvious”.
There were a few I knew the general area of where they went, and got them right. Ones like Egypt and Ivory Coast. But for the most part, it was remembering ones I’d gotten wrong earlier.
