Never got it afaik, and the only thing the shots did to me was induce a series of slightly sore arms for a few days. I have been religious about using hand sanitizer ever since the first strain hit, fwiw, but haven’t masked in more than 2 years now.
I feel like each time i get the shots, my reaction is a little worse the first time it was just a sore arm. Then i had a sure arm and was tired for a day. Then i was tied for a day and ached all over. Then i ached all over and maybe ran a light fever, and slept all day.
But I’ve never really had more than a day of symptoms from the shots, and the case of covid took the wind out of my sails for a few weeks, as well as making me very sick for a few days. I want eligible for a spring vaccine, and not i obviously don’t need one, but I’m planning on getting a shot next fall.
