How many resolutions have you broken already in the MMP?

What does it mean, “raging thigh-sweats”?

::rummages thru closet::
::finds yard stick, 9’ pole, & 6’ pole::

Sorry, no 10 footers; can’t answer that one for you, disagreeable one.

**flytrap **- it’s a somewhat crude way of expressing a female’s sexual attraction reflex. I prefer to leave it at that.

Or I could just say BAND NAME!!!

Back from Food Lion having successfully acquired half a dozen chickie tits! They’re all individually packaged and tucked in the freezer for future meals.

I also filled the truck - not as terrifying as the days when the total was over $100. All the groceries are put away and I’m trying to decide what to defrost for supper. I’m thinking fish would be a good choice.

But first, I need to thaw myself - it’s cold and windy out there!

16 and snowing right now. Tonight may be as cold as -20 with the wind chill. Heavy drapes are still closed.

Spidey 6, 9 or 10 foot ----- if its a Pole I’m still betting he’s called Stash. The real question becomes with all these really tall Poles people keep looking for or finding, how come none have made it into the NBA?

Up, caffeinated, working late again tonight.

:: fill frozen turkeys with fart blossoms with fart blossoms, drops them on swampy’s yard from a helicopter ::
:smiley:

Just don’t think about it.:eek:

I’m from a family of Poles, and not a Staś (as a proper Pole should write it) amongst them. My dad was Tadeusz (Thaddeus) and the rest of the names were pretty benign - Michael, Joseph, Lawrence, Robert, Richard, Frank, Walter. We did have a friend named Staś who kept his boat at the same marine we used. Sadly, he developed dementia and I’m pretty sure he’s died. He wasn’t 10’ altho he was over 6’.

Dishwasher is emptied, cat box has been scooped, and very gradually, the sky seems to be clearing. The temp has crept above freezing, tho not by much. I’m thinking I’ll turn off the pellet stove for a bit so I can scoop out some ashes. Maybe I’ll trim my fingernails also. Good times…

I can’t even begin to talk about the weather here in no. Illinois. Tomorrow the temp MIGHT get into the double digits. I’ve been home sick with gastroenteritis. You don’t want the details. Today I managed to go to the sto for 7-Up and chicken noodle soup. I wanted to lose a few pounds, but not this way.

{{{wet one}}} Hope you’re feeling better soon.

It’s a balmy 28F here in middle Tennessee. Heat wave! It looks like I’ll be knocking off early (as usual on Firday) today. Think I’ll go in to the Asian market, as I’m out of bok choy, and as swampy would say, “I have a gnawin’ and a cravin’.”

Mooom, why the lack of pictures of this eye candy? I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be old enough to be his mother :smiley:

Went out earlier to do some fud shopping, but it ain’t 'alf windy now. It’s a good night to stay in, methinks.

Oh, {{{peedin}}}. So sorry. :frowning: And shoe, hope you’re feeling better, too.

Swampy, so glad you posted the link to Mumper recipes. Snapped up MOOOOOM’s pizza dough recipe and Taters’ Spinach-Sausage pasta for making next week. Don’t know how I missed it but can’t wait to make more recipes from it too.

Sari, I have an old house with the same problem you do: storage to the ceiling. There’s not a lot of storage at hobbit height (I am 4’10.") Still trying to figure out how best to arrange things. Let me know if you come up with some great short-person storage hacks. Oh, and DH finally bought me a step-stool after I, um, ripped the bathroom sink away from the wall due to standing on it to get a vase stored in a ceiling height cabinet… What?!? No, the chair didn’t reach high enough to stand on that. Doesn’t everyone do this? :smiley:

Happy Firday!

It’s a sunny 30 degrees today.

Stupid stupid Sah-dog, actually stupid me. I let him out early this am instead of taking him out. It’s cold, it’s snowy out, I thought for sure he’d come right back in. He went over to the neighbors again and I thought he’d come back. Instead he followed her fence all the way to the end of the yard, came back over to my yard and walked out the open gate.Then he walked around the fence and went into the other neighbors yard.
Poor Sah-son had to run to get him.
For a dog who is mostly blind he seemed to know exactly where he was going.
No more let outs, now he has to be taken out.

Yoiks!!! I hope you didn’t get hurt! We have several similar to these and they’re great. They fold for easy storage, they’re stable, and they can get me high enough. Of course, we just have 8’ ceilings. I think you’d want a real ladder for higher houses.

**Nut **- do you like Welshmen? Here’s his website. He is as attractive up close and personal, too. I spoke with him briefly on the ship - very nice guy.

{{{wetone}}} remind me to sing “Soft Kitty” when I get to da cave this evenin’. Feel better soonest.

As gawd is my witness… :stuck_out_tongue: Shoulda filled the frozen turkeys with Red Bull.

I am survivin’ the irk day. N.O.L. has been eaten. I brought some deviled aigs to share. They were well received.

Laterz!

::smaks Doggio upside the head::

Where you gonna get a hellychopper from? Unless you’re recruiting Johnny L.A. who’s going to fly it? You’re like the Pentagon with new weapons systems; ya know, if we put a bunch of FBs under a sharkapult-launched fin, they’d act like cluster bombs. :smack:
{{wetone}}

Well, if you hack 'em up, they’ll fit anywhere but if they’re sufficiently short, I just store them under my bed. :stuck_out_tongue:
Know what I want for lunch? What’s currently sitting on the bottom shelf in the fridge in my kitchen. :smack:

{{{{WetOne}}}]

Brunch is eaten. Time for Gordie’s afternoon walk.

grrlbrarian (if you don’t already have a nick, I’d like to suggest Marian :stuck_out_tongue: ), I once tore the kitchen sink from its creaky cabinet by standing in it to wash the window above it. All was well until I braced myself to push the lower window up. :smack: The landlord was not happy. I have a couple of step thingies like Mooom has and with the two step one, I can reach the back of my top kitchen cabinets (I’m 5’6").

Irk is almost done for the week! :slight_smile:

Lessee - I boiled and peeled some eggs, cleared the laundry room so FCD and I can pull out the dryer and clean the vent, I took out the trash and put in a new recycling bag, I cleaned out some ash from the pellet stove, and cleaned the window while I was at it. And I made some cherry jello (generic.)

Still haven’t decided what to do for supper, tho.

Man-oh-man, I wanted to slap a knot onto VWife’s haid this morning.

We both needed to see the medical vampire, and Firdays are reserved for that kind of stuff. I told her in no uncertain words that we needed to be at the lab at 0700 when the door opens because the people come piling in fast and it will take forever.

I kick her outta bed in plenty of time to get there, and she does her usual dawdling fiddle-farting. We leave the house at 0700. Halfway there, she asks if I brought her lab orders. No, your orders, your responsibility. Turn around, and I’m the one that has to go get them off the fridge. Finally parked at 0715, the waiting room was SRO, and we didn’t get done until 0845. Then she’s mad at me because I’m furious at her… :rolleyes:

I’ve made the executive decision that since it was too hot the one day this summer to cook, we should declare today too cold and eat out. Having been wise enough to reach that conclusion I am leaving it up to the Old Wench to decide where.

Do you feel guilty, Fairy Chat, tossing the Mouse family out of their house on such a cold day?
:dubious:
