I said one, but the truth is it has been many many years since I sat down and ate a full container.
I’m still trying to decide if all the people who picked one are joking or not.
For me it’s between 3 and 5 servings.
I usually eat one spoonful, enjoy it fully, and put the rest back. This is the only area in my life in which I exhibit anything vaguely resembling self restraint.
Yeesh. All the “one serving” responses in this thread remind me of why UHC is such a bad idea.
If they’re not in jest and representive of general views, I guess it’s a clue to the obesity problems in the country…
I eat the entire carton of B&J’s every time I buy one. If I bought one every day, I would probably be obese. I buy one about 3 times a year, so it’s not an issue.
I love ice cream, but haven’t eaten it in 15 years.
Brian Regan on serving sizes.
Gets to ice cream about 1:45 in.
I only buy it like twice a year, but when I do I eat the whole thing. We don’t keep things like that in the house so when I do get it, it’s a ‘want ice cream now!’ thing. I know it’s about 1200 calories, but for a couple times a year I don’t mind indulging.
OK, I went with one container = one serving. But 2 servings per container is more realistic.
However, I usually buy Texas’ own Blue Bell ice cream. Lower in butterfat than Ben & Jerry’s, so it’s practically a diet dessert. Isn’t it?
It is also available in half gallons–which I avoid unless I’m expecting company.
