Another Brit here. If we’re not counting plane changes then my grand total would be… one.
Florida.
I was nine years old, Mickey Mouse gave me a hug!

I’ll admit not to being well traveled However, since travelling is not amongst my favorite pastimes, I don’t think I’ll be adding to the number any time soon.
the 48 contiguous, D.C., and 3 Canadian provinces… Driving. In a mini motorhome. With my parents. and 3 siblings. 'course we were kids… but it made for interesting times nonetheless.
Also hit Mexico, Jamaica, and the Caymans via cruise ship… with my parents. and 3 siblings. And their spouses and kids. We are a very close family.
Oh, by the way… I love using periods for emphasis. I learned that from you guys. Thanks!
Whoops, I just realized that I left off Hawaii from my original list. Wonder how that one slipped my mind
I also wanted to mention that of the states on my list I’ve lived in:
Georgia was born there
Florida as a kid right after Georgia , and again in between Iceland and Alaska
Iceland (not a state but…)
Alaska, for a decade until moving to…
Texas in Febuary
Everything except Oregon. Not sure how I missed that one. Hopefully soon I will rectify the situation.

All fifty, baby! Plus DC, and all ten Canadian provinces (including both Newfoundland *and[i/] Labrador)!
And none of them were do-nothing drive-throughs, either! Saw or did something touristy in every single one!
DC
Florida
Maryland
Massachusetts
New Hampshire
New Jersey
New York
Oregon
Pennsylvania
Vermont
Washington
And Ontario and Quebec…
I admit it’s a little short, but I’m young and I plan on visiting many more. And I am going to have to move to Oregon eventually. Was there on a geology trip to the Cascades and just fell in love with the state!
47 states…every one but Hawaii, Florida, and Mississippi.
Let’s see…Every Canadian province except the fiddly ones on the East Coast…Halifax, Prince Edward Island, etc.
Benefit of: having parents who think travel is broadening, and being a competitive High School Speech coach. We do tend to travel a bit doing that…
I’ve hit all of them except Hawaii, Alaska, and Washington (state). Most of them were in the past three years. And I’ve hit 4 Canadian thingies (Counties? Provinces? I don’t mean to offend, I just can’t remember what they’re called right now.) and Baja Mexico.
Twenty states I have spent at least one night in:
Maine
Rhode Island
Connecticut
New York
New Jersey
Pennsylvania
Delaware

Oklahoma
Kansas
Colorado
New Mexico
Utah
Arizona
Nevada
Idaho
California
Oregon
Washington
Alaska
Hawaii
