How many subscription services do you pay for each month

I’ll define subscription services as any of the various streaming video or audio services, video games, print publications, any of the many “crates” (collectibles, razors, food, clothing). I’ve probably left some out but basically reoccurring monthly payments that are not mortgage/rent, utilities, cables, etc.

Mommypants and I normally have three.
Google Play Music family plan
Hulu Plus
Big Fish Games
Netflix will get started again in September.

Two. HBO and Savage Love Magnum edition.

Netflix.

Netflix, Spotify.

Does Amazon Prime count?

Monthly Payments:
Barkbox (dog toys & treats)
Seeso (comedy-centric media site)

Yearly payments:
Wired Magazine
Rolling Stone Magazine
Amazon Prime

PC Gamer
Playstation Plus
erm…
That’s it.

Streaming / digital content stuff:

  • Netflix
  • Amazon Prime

Magazines:

  • Rolling Stone
  • Runner’s World
  • Archaeology (this one’s my wife’s)

MMORPGs:

  • Star Wars: The Old Republic
  • Champions Online

Sling TV

Sports Illustrated, but that’s a yearly subscription

Print:
The Atlantic
GQ
The New Yorker
Foreign Affairs

Dollar Shave Club, a whopping $6 per month.

Sirius/XM (paid annually)
DirecTV ([probably excluded by terms of OP)
Netflix (I think-- we have access so somebody in the family must be paying)
SDMB (paid annually)
MLB app.

TV:
Netflix
Acorn
Print:
NY Times
Mercury News
New Yorker
And a technical society membership

Netflix
Hulu
The Atlantic
Binah
Hamodia
Amazon Prime

Netflix and Sirius radio

Netflix
Hulu
Amazon Prime
HBO NOW
I’ve considered Acorn, but I don’t watch a ton of tv, so why add something that will increase my tv time?

Oops, that reminds me – I forgot to list my Sirius subscription.

Netflix
Amazon Prime

NYT website
Sunset magazine
AARP magazine
The Oregonian (newspaper)
Straight Dope

There are probably others I can’t think of.

LOTRO (Lord of the Rings online)
BTSport (UK Internet TV channel)

Very few are monthly. Usually I prepay a year, like all of my wife’s magazines and most of my business services (things like DropBox and Office 365 Exchange)

On the personal side, I think NetFlix is the only monthly non-insurance non-utility item.

I’m glad this thread was started. I realized that I haven’t used Ancestry for quite some time and cancelled my subscription.
