The only monthly subscription I paid to was the WWF (The World Wide Fund for Nature), Cancer Research and a few other charities, but after volunteering for the WWF and reading stories about how charities pay a lot to their execs and little goes to intended recipient - plus I got increasingly aggressive phone calls from charities I was giving to - I stopped all of those.
I’d probably pay for Netflix if it offered all of its content where I live. Globalisation shouldn’t mean a global media company chooses what it shows in each country; it should mean its bank of media is available to consumers in every country. Until Netflix plays fair, I’ll just download that shit for free.
