105 — +/- 5 (there was a huge rush for about 10 minutes and sort of lost count, but I’m sure we are very close)
You?
None, and now I’ve got a shitload of candy that I don’t want. Little bastards. Anyone want some halloween candy?

Hell yeah, Ultra, I’m in Fairfax. Do you deliver?
About six groups, maybe a dozen kids total. And we bought way too much candy.
None. Our nite was Sunday and none visited then either. Of course, I had no candy, so it was good that no one came. I have a rather steep driveway surrounded by woods and there are no lights, so it is best that no one came.
Maybe, if I get out that way. Shoot me an e-mail with your address; I’ll probably be out in that area this weekend. My address is in the biography section of my profile. Make sure to mention the SDMB in the subject, cause otherwise I’ll delete it as spam (stupid hotmail).
Surprisingly few. Less than a dozen, all told. I’m surprised, because there are actually more families with little kids living on our street this year than last year, when we had a lot more trick or treaters.
Possible reasons:
1.) Pretty cold this year
2.) Lingering fear of bad stuff, even a year after 9/11 and after the DC sniper’s been caught.
3.) It’s a weeknight.
I noticed something else odd this year (although Pepper Mill says she saw it last year) – two houses on our block just left out a bowl of candy and a sign that said “Happy Halloween. Help Yourself.” I don’t think they were home in either case, but this seems weird – Halloween with an Honor System.
6 pounds of candy, 80 kids.
Very, very, few kids. Maybe 4 groups and a grand total of 12 kids. It seems a lot of churches in my area had activities and almost evryone I know was going to one of them. It was also cold, humid, and windy.
We had our jack o’ lantern out, the porch light on, and a huge bowl of candy for all the little monsters. And not one trick-or-treater showed up!
None.
None. Of course, like Khadaji, I had no candy to give them anyway. I live in a complex of townhouses and there aren’t many kids, so I wasn’t expecting any.
None.
We’ve lived in the same apartment building for about 6 years or so. The first year we got 1. After that, none.
Oh well, means that we don’t have to buy candy just to give away.
We had about 50-60. Most were local kids, walking, with parents attending. Some were what Mrs. Nott calls miners, piling out of cars to harvest as much candy as possible. Some were teenagers, nearly as tall as I am. I gave 'em candy, but as they left, I said, “Don’t forget to vote on Tuesday!”

3 kids. (One came alone, the other two were together.)
The last two kids arrived at 9:45. It was obvious no one else was coming, so I just gave them the whole bag of candy.
My doorbell’s broken.

I think I had more last year and the year before. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t what I gave out (I gave out the same thing last year as the year before that). My guess is the nieghborhood is aging.

My door bell is broken too and we don’t have a porch light. We still had ~50 kids stop by. It was colder than a witch’s teet last night too. No Darth Maul’s though. This was the first Halloween in forever where there wasn’t 1000 of the same flavor of the month costumes. Very good assortment of outfits here in the heartland this year. I for one am glad. I expected to see a horde of Spidermen(less than 10 I saw) or Harry Potters(not a one).
Right around 60, same as last year. Thank God some kids still are allowed to have fun.
