How much cash is in your wallet?

$63.00 I don’t usually carry that much around, but my boyfriend paid back a loan and I haven’t spent it yet, or put it in the bank. I’d just have to take it out again sooner or later.

$10, plus loose change. I usually try to have at least $20 in my wallet, but it’s finals week so I haven’t had much need for cash.

None, I don’t carry my cash in my wallet. Everything in my wallet can be replaced if it gets lost/stolen, my cash can’t so the cash goes in my pocket.

Two 20s and a bunch of ones. I use the debit card for a lot of stuff, but not small (under $5 or $10) purchases, or movie tickets, or train tickets. I also like to have cash for when having a meal out with friends – it’s so much easier to be able to throw in money for my share.

No cash, just my debit card.

$5. That is all that’s left since I came back from Las Vegas over Thanksgiving. But I haven’t used my debit card in almost two weeks!

About $30 in cash, and easily another $10 in coins I haven’t dumped out yet.

11 simoleans

None. I can’t carry cash or I’ll spend it all on food. It’s bad enough that I had to bring my debit card today, because of having to buy a prescription; that left me open to charging McDonald’s and other “bad” food.

Oh, and I don’t really have a wallet. Just a holder for my license and cards, with a keyring attached. No purse either.

Nothing at all.

I stopped to buy a new winter coat on impulse (long story). It was cash only, $19.99. I had a twenty and a bit of change which I thought would cover it once the tax was added on - and if not, that the salesperson would have some sort of flexibility (which they usually do in cash-only places, I’ve often come up short and had them say “No problem.”)

I was about 67 cents short (or something), the salesguy actually rooted through his pockets for enough change to cover me …

So no cash in my wallet, but at least now I’m warm!

Where on earth can you get a new winter coat for only $19.99?

$150 in notes
$4.65 in coins

No wallet either, I just have some cards and ID in a money clip and the actual cash itself is always folded but loose in the pocket.
$51 cash right now and about $1.20 in change.

Weird this thread should come up. I’ve got nothing - I’ve just spent my last 20c in the M&M dispenser.

Stupid me. Went to a gig in the city last night, about 2 hrs away on the train (it was The Lucksmiths, BTW, who were as awesome as usual) and didn’t want to have to carry a bag. So my gentlemanly friend offered to carry my credit card and my licence for me. And I forgot to get them back from him. Even after we reminded each other at the breakfast table not to forget. Luckily I’d bought a return train ticket.

No money, and no access to money. I’m treating it as a sociological excercise. I have literally no plans this weekend, so I should be fine till it arrives in the post on Monday.

Ugh. The last time I did something like that, it was the night before payday. I was downtown and had spent my last change on a snack, when I went to get on the subway to go home, and realised I didn’t have a subway fare (and no token or ticket either). All I had was my Mississauga bus pass (I lived and worked in the suburban city of Mississauga at the time.)

So I walked. It took me four and a half hours to walk from Queens Quay and Bay (the centre of the waterfront) to Islington (where I could get my Mississauga bus and go the rest of the way home). Man, did my feet hurt.

A dollar bill and less than 50 cents in change, mostly pennies.

Steve and Barry’s, down here. Don’t ya’ll have them Up There? Their poofy coats are about that, even less for the kids’.

And last time I checked, the Hudson’s Bay Company was charging around $400 for a new parka.

Wait… how do you define ‘winter coat’? I define it as one of these.

He’s mailing your wallet back to you? When this could be the perfect excuse for another meeting?
