Eh, I’m with @susan here. The Jesus that Paul talks about is the Jesus he claims to have met personally… in a vision of light. He’s much more interested in the metaphysical concept of Jesus than in the flesh-and-blood person. He never even mentions any of Jesus’s Earthly relatives, or any of his biographical details other than the Crucifixion, so far as I remember.

While true, he also treats them as one and the same person. His vision of Jesus was of the historical Jesus, as far as he was concerned.

Heck, this is part of why people assume Jesus had short hair: surely Paul wouldn’t have said that it was a shame for men to have long hair if Jesus’s hair was long. Though, of course, what counts as long back then might be different.
