That question is way more complicated than you anticipated. It looks like it is made out of some sort of recycled polyester plus a zipper and maybe a liner. That would be roughly $5 in materials but lots of consumer items are that way. After that, it depends on where it was produced, how it was shipped, how it was distributed, branding licenses and royalties. That is how all consumer supply chain items work so there is no one way to answer the question.
I understand. Plus, you have to allocate a portion of the machinery/overhead to each item. I thought we could use a “wisdom of crowds” approach and come up with an estimate.
