That sounds pretty high - shop around, and also maybe ask your insurer (they’re not going to volunteer discounts!!).
We were paying about that for two cars, admittedly both older (a 98 Civic and 06 CRV) until we added our son the policy :eek::smack:.
Our homeowners’ insurance had skyrocketed in recent years - more than doubling in 10 years. They rejiggered everything when we did the auto policy this fall and wound up slashing that by quite a bit.
Look into affinity discounts as well - e.g. through work, college, whatever.
Re mileage: Even without trackers they might try weaseling out of paying if you had it set for, say, leisure driving only (they charge more if you commute regularly). Of course when I made that change to my policy (I work from home most days) it saved me a whopping 50 bucks a year - which almost exactly offset increased liability that we had to get to be able to purchase an umbrella poilicy (see above: teen driver).
