It’s been 8 years for me as well. I still look 17, but fortunately, just about everything else has changed.
I graduated 21 years ago and am told I am only recognizable by my distinctive voice. I wore glasses and was a very late bloomer. I didn’t learn to dress to my best advantage and tame my unruly hair until I was in my 20’s. At 5’8", I tried to seem smaller—the boys in school were always shorter than me, it seemed. My parents were very loving and very strict. I was involved in lots of extracurricular activities but they drove me there and waited until I was done to take me home. I look much better than I did in school. If a man is shorter than me, it’s okay and I’ll still wear my 3 inch heels. I drive myself everywhere and like it!
How much have I changed since high school?
Well, I graduated in 1977. 25 times 365 minus a few camping trips…wait a minute…are we counting underwear and socks separately?
not much.
It’s been 11 years. I know that sounds like
a lot to some of you. I hear somebody’s age mentioned
on the news and I think ‘gosh they’re old’
then I think, ‘they’re a year older than me’.
I’m getting that narrowing of the hair in the front
on the top of my head. My hair has thinned a good bit.
I still wear cool clothes.
-
I am no longer suicidal. At least, not nearly as much.
-
I no longer want to blow up significant parts of the world (including my former school).
-
My hair.
-
I used to be a rather conservative person in terms of religion. I ain’t anymore.
-
Lot less naive, thanks to this board.
-
I’m not a completely pathetic loser anymore. [sub]Only a mostly pathetic loser.[/sub]
-
As I told a friend of mine from high school, I got the stick out of my ass.
-
I have accepted the possibility that not every person I haven’t met is evil. Er, it is possible that there are random people out there I haven’t heard of . . . who aren’t out to get me. You would not have been able to drive this fact into me with a sledgehammer and the jaws of life back in high school.
In general, I’m healthier.
It’s been nearly five months.
I have darker hair.
I’m not afraid to dress in a very weird fashion.
I have gained no weight, nor have I grown, nor did I expect either.
I’ve become EXTREMELY independent. I was always somewhat of a loner in high school, but I’m more of one now.
It’s not so bad. I kind of like myself.
It’s been over 3 years since I graduated high school. I’m glad I’m out of high school and away from my hometown. It was such a dead end. As for how much I’ve changed since back then…I basically look the same or better, I’ve learned a lot about life,I’ve made a lot of great friends, and I’ve lost a few old ones. The biggest and greatest change in my life since high school has to be falling in love with the very best friend I’ve ever had…
How much have I changed since high school?
About this much…

Seriously though Im a lot more self confident and have lost quite a bit of weight. I am also way more versed in drugs. I believe these three changes MAY be related
I have matured. In high school I was universally regarded to be an insufferable know it all. These days I am only generally acknowledged to be one.
