How Much Have You Changed Since High School

I am a completely different person and it’s only been two and a half years! I am a lot less naive then I used to be and I look different too. What about you?

It’s been 29 years.

Do you want the change described in actual pounds?

It’s been four months.

I’m unrecognizable.

im still in highschool but i dont recognize myself from 5 minutes ago! ACK my face is transforming again!

It has been 40 some years. In some ways I am the same person and in others I am completely different. That’s life for you.

I vaguely remember high school. I was pretty much an idiot back then. Of course, some day I’ll be sitting around thinking about how much of an idiot I was right now, and so on, and so forth.

It’s been twenty five years since I graduated. Iv’e gained 85 pounds, lost all my illusions and all hope for the future.

At my 20 year reunion, I was second in the most unreconizable contest. The beard, waist leangth hair, and extra &@%$&@## pounds all contributed. Since I was one of the band geeks it was even more pronounced a difference.

I also don’t drink and drug much anymore.

To quote myself: “Yeah. Exactamente.”

It’s been… 3 years? three and a half. My maturity level has like doubled. of course, i still say ‘like.’ in like every sentence. but besides that i’m like totally different. okay, joke is old. but really. The last 3 years seem like they passed more time than did the previous 17. I guess that’s how it is once you start getting past adolescence. the transition to adulthood. comes pretty fast.

after 6 years… hrm…

physically? am taller, havent gained any weight tho. darn.

psycholocically? damn i was a freakin’ idiot! (and ill prolly say the same damn thing again in another 6 years  )

I hope I’ve changed a LOT! Especially since it’s been [sub]16 [/sub]years. I’m still recognizable, however, in spite of several more pounds that I seem to have picked up somewhere. Maturity level and personality have changed big time (hopefully for the better).

Good Morning,

A couple of weeks ago, Sunflower and I attended my 30 year high school reunion. I was amazed at how little had changed.

None of us are 18 anymore, and all of us have a couple more pounds, or a little less hair, but essentially, all attendees were pretty much as I remembered them.

High school? Man, that was a couple of lifetimes ago. The only thing I’m sure of is that my hair is about two feet shorter. But I’ve got my 30th reunion in three weeks - that’ll be a good reality check, perhaps.

I’m undeniably fatter.

I’m also a lot wiser, more self-confident, more tolerant, and have more perspective. Sure I know more stuff (trivia as well as actual book learnin’) but the most profound changes have come from the things I’ve learned about the world in general and other humans. Maybe most of that would fall under the headings of tolerance. And perspective.

It’s been four months for me, too. I’m a lot happier.

I’ve gained a few well needed pounds and lost some well needed hair.

A longer response will take some more thought…

It’s only been 2 years and 4 months since I’ve graduated from high school. Yet in that time I managed to change into a completely different person. Physically I’ve gained 25 lbs (I look healthy now and I was near anorexic in high school). Mentally I’ve grown up alot. I was a spoiled, ant-social, scared little kid. Now that my parents are divorced I help support my mom will going to school full time while working part time. I’m not anti-social anymore and I’ve got all kinds of self confidence. I’ll get to see a lot of the old high school people here in about 3 weeks at my best friends wedding. Time to show off!

5 years later, and I’m a lot more confident and self assured. Plus I cut my hair.

7 years for me.

I look about the same, albeit older and different hair color. But college and the ensuing “growing up” changed me a lot. I have a lot of the same friends, and, although I’ve moved a zillion times in the past 7 years, I came back to the same area, and am me, just… older.

It’s been a little over 8 years since I graduated. I think I look the same as I did back then except that I’ve lost about 25 pounds. I do think I have a lot more confidence now then I did back then.

I think everyone I knew from high school would recognize me in a second. In the last few years I’ve run into people who recognized me from elementary school. That’s kind of depressing.
