How much have you spent on Tattoos/Piercings/Body Mods?'

Hmm… my first pair of ear piercings was free, as it was a gift from my Nanny when I was about 12.
I got the second pair of holes above the first ones on my last day of school, a week before graduation ceremonies. A friend and I took off early and got our ears pierced at Brucey’s, the gay barber. $8 per ear… $16. No tax. Brucey is awesome.
I got one more hole in my right ear, in the cartilage near the top. I’ve been meaning to get another couple under that one, but never got around to it. That one cost $15, to pay for the stud. They tried to push a $30 care package on me, but I turned it down and picked up some Sea Breeze at the drugstore for about $4.

So, for the piercings, a grand total of $31. $35 if you include the Sea Breeze.

No tattoos. Yet. I’ve been seriously considering it for ten years now. Haven’t gotten one because I just can’t decide on something I like enough to have permanently on my body. Or where. Hm.

i paid a total of $20 to get my ears pierced at my doctor’s office, with topical anesthesia (did i mention i was a needle wimp?)

that was 2 visits, for a total of 2 holes in each ear.

I don’t remember exact amounts, but this is close:

Tattoos:
Cross $150
Ankles $180 for both
Kanji $40

Piercings:
First four earlobe piercings, at Claire’s $30-40
Other earlobe piercings free (self-done)
Nose $50
Other $90

So, all told about $550. I’ve got another thousand or so earmarked for further work when I get the details of the art finalized.
