Remember the show, “Herman’s Head”?

Yeardley Smith played the receptionist in that show. In one scene, she was shown yelling into the phone and spouting some, “SAME TO YOU, PAL!” kind of line, before slamming the phone down. When she noticed everybody staring at her, she said, “He said I sounded like that Lisa Simpson character!”

Of course, most of the actors on Herman’s Head were Simpsons voice actors. God I wish that show was available on DVD. That show had one of my all-time favorite exchanges:

Hedy: Herman, do you think my skirt is too tight?

Herman: Not if you’ve been shot in the ass and you’re trying to stop the bleeding.

Hedy: Oh, good!

And Herman’s boss gave me my personal catchphrase: “I’m [Osborne]. I know everything.”

ETA: Holy crap, Harry Shearer is 70? He’s as old as my parents?

It’ll stop when Matt Groening stops working. Either when he dies or when he’s to ill to work. He pulls the shots, and everyone else is replaceable even if their replacement would be terrible - the show would still make enough money to keep going.
