Holder was acting in his capacity as the President’s attorney for actions taken by the President did in office. That’s the proper role of the AG. The rape accusation was for something Trump did before he was in office. That’s not the AG’s duty to defend.
Sure, but the fundamental difference here is that Holder et al, weren’t defending and/or prosecuting people based on Obama or Bush’s personal agendas and issues. I mean, it’s not unusual or even unseemly for an AG to have a political slant as far as what they prosecute or don’t. They’re a political appointee after all.
But until Trump’s administration, AGs were political appointees and allies, not personal lackeys. That’s the fundamental difference here.
Joe hasnt been the senator from Delaware since 2009, and has had a long stint as Veep, maybe you remember that?
And yes, they are incorporated there, but they dont keep their headquarters there.
In General, it aint Democrats in the pocket of Big Business, that’s Repubs.
Joe has a 85% score from the AFL/CIO, and his last rating from the ACLU was 91%. The Americans for Democratic Action (ADA) rates him quite liberal. You dont get a 85 from the AFL/CIO if you are “in the pocket of big business”.
Somehow you must have gotten ahold of some canard spread by the Bernie-Bros during the Primaries.
That’s right. Delaware has some of the most sophisticated corporate law and corporate law judges, so lots of companies incorporate in Delaware even though they have no plans to operate in Delaware.
When it comes to the fact that every metric and expert disagrees with you, maybe you might rethink your position.AFL/CIO, ACLU, Americans for Democratic Action (ADA) and the
American Conservative Union (ACU) all rank Biden as fairly liberal.
