Assuming you’ve been playing since the day it was released, and assuming you sleep 8 hours a day on average, you’ve spent about 9% of your waking hours playing WoW since November of 2004!
Pansy. I have more than that on ONE character, and I switched mains a couple years ago. (No, I’m not going to dig up my actual /played, it is truly embarrassing)
I joined Jan '05. (My first character was a NE hunter on windrunner, which was a very unstable server back then. The character was deleted within a week.)
I’ve played almost exactly 23 days on my paladin. Maybe 3 hours on all my other toons combined.
Since I’ve been playing my pally for 3 years, that amounts to about thirty minutes a day. Given that I’ve had some long playfests with my buddy, it’s actually not all that much.
My druid had 210+ days played when I sold him last summer. Raiding from release through the start of Sunwell. I only had one other character, and he was lucky if he had 10 days.
It’s sortof a shame that there’s no easy way to see how long one has browsed the SDMB or other forums. I have a feeling a lot of the derision toward people who’ve played many hours of that game would quiet down a teensy bit once some people see how long they spend in front of a computer clicking on links and interacting with people.
