He looked more like Philip Glass to me, although I’m not sure Philip Glass has ever been arrested wearing a Misfits teeshirt. Why the teeshirt anyway? He looks like an embarrassing dad trying to be “down” with what the kids listen to - not that anyone listens to the Misfits anyway.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Singer Boy George was arraigned early on Saturday in Manhattan on drug possession charges after police arrested him when they found a small amount of cocaine at his apartment in Little Italy.

He was released on his own recognizance and ordered to return to Manhattan Criminal Court on December 19.

The singer, whose real name is George O’Dowd and who made his name with the 1980s pop band Culture Club, then walked out of the courtroom, sat on a bench and began crying like a baby.

I have to take issue with that. He’s the right age to be a Misfits fan. I’m betting he was wearing the tee-shirt because…he’s a Misfits fan. Which is a lot cooler than if he turned up is something “the kids” are listening to these days. (You call that music?? In my day we didn’t need mor’n three chords…that was all we had…and we we’re HAPPY!)
