How often do you eat breakfast foods outside of the morning?

I also do cold cereal as a late night snack. It’s usually the nuts 'n grains type so I figure it’s better than a bag of Doritos or bowl of ramen noodles.

I rarely eat in the morning. If I do I end up eating almost twice as much for the day, because it somehow makes me hungrier at lunchtime. But I do like a lot of traditional breakfast foods, so if I’m going to eat them, I almost have to eat them outside of the morning.

I voted for ‘a few times a year’, but really I never eat breakfast foods in the morning, ONLY at other times. Yay for Brinner!

I can’t think of one occasion in the last five years that I’ve had breakfast food at any time other than in the morning.

Last night I had an english muffin with peanut butter on one half and strawberry jam on the other side for supper. I will often scramble an egg and plop it on buttered toast if I am by myself come suppertime.

On the opposite side of the clock, I often eat non-breakfast food for breakfast. The best example is soup–I love eating chicken noodle soup to break my fast. Or beef barley or split pea with ham . . . soup is so warming and comforting in the morning.

In Spain there’s traditionally no such thing as “breakfast foods”; we eat the same things for breakfast that we eat for dessert, for dinner, for lunch or for a snack. Which are valid for other times depends on the specific item: you can have fruit as dessert, breakfast, dinner or a snack, but you won’t have a fried egg as a snack.
The only things which people think of as being “(almost) exclusively for breakfast” are breakfast cereals, and that’s mostly because of Kellogg’s marketing them that way, and many people treat them as candy in dry form.

I chose “multiple times a week” because I don’t really make a distinction between “breakfast foods” or other meals. Any of my meals can be just about anything. Breakfast could be leftovers from last night’s dinner, or fruit & yogurt, or a smoothie - and really, any of those are things I might have for lunch too.

I have a spinach omelet for lunch twice a week most weeks, so that alone would do it for me. I also eat cereal as a snack.

It’s the same for me. I’m just not hungry at all for the first few hours of the day. But I do love breakfast food so breakfast for dinner isn’t an uncommon thing for me.

Same here. The only breakfast food I don’t like is hash browns. Everything else, I’ll eat any time of day. Except I am not cooking anything before noon, so all that stuff becomes dinner fodder.

Just had goetta and eggs last night…

Waffles and beer are good, too!

I work the late shift, and when I get home at midnight, I want something quick and easy, so cereal is often the easiest thing.

If I’m at a diner, I always order breakfast, no matter what time of day it is. Usually an omelet, but otherwise eggs in some form.

Leftover pizza, while typically a breakfast treat, can be eaten anytime.

Pizza for breakfast, beer for lunch, eggs for dinner, hell I’m all over the clock.

I eat bacon every chance I get. Pizza is a full course meal, especially for breakfast. (There’s never any leftover bacon.) Everything else has to just fall into place (life fried chicken.)
