Typical breakfast foods you love at dinner time.

Ham and eggs, it’s not just for breakfast anymore

Wheat Chex

Omelettes three times a day.

Mmmmmmm…omelettes.

Omelettes and toast… pancakes… waffles… pretty much anything goes. Cereal is reserved for mornings or handfuls for munchies when they come not an actual meal.

I love cereal, and will eat it at any time.

On a side note, when I was in high school and spent the summer in France, my friend and I were doing the typical teenager sleeping in thing, and when we woke in the afternoon the guys we were staying with were cooking sausages for lunch. Like, Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage type stuff. When we joined them to eat, they were disgusted that we would eat breakfast sausages for breakfast! Apparently they’re considered a lunch or dinner food over there.

Pancakes!

I’ll have a blueberry muffin for dinner, especially if I’ve had a big lunch. Waffles are good too.

Once a year I have scrambled eggs with shrimp, lots of bacon and a French champagne. 361 days and counting…

Scrambled eggs, anytime of day or night. I love scrambled eggs. Oh yeah.

So are omelettes.

I’m not averse to consuming small sausages or omelettes for dinner. But when I do it I feel all Suave and Continental, not like I’m eating breakfast at eight pee-em.

French Toast and bacon bring cheers at the table when its dinner time!

Runny over-easy eggs and steamed white rice and castup and shoyu.

All of the above. However, Mr. Ruby insists that breakfast food is not for lunch/dinner. I don’t know how he survived all these years without eggs/pancakes/bacon/omlettes/cereal/et al for dinner. <sigh>

Scotch!

My wife and I never eat cereal for breakfast. We have it for dinner, or late meals. You can find 5-9 boxes of the stuff in our cabinet at any given time. My favorites are Special K Red Berries, Honey Bunches of Oats and Multi-grain Cheerios.

My wife likes things like Gravel-O’s (Er, I mean Grape Nuts whatever they call them) and Shredded Cardb…Wheat.

When we’re on the road, we like to have the full Bacon/Eggs/Toast/Hashbrowns bit for dinner.

Bacon Hint: If you cook the bacon up first, try putting it in some foil (or a dish) with a shot of really peaty scotch while you finish cooking everything else. Chewy and tasty! This works especially good if you accidentally overcook the stuff.

My friends and I are seriously addicted to a certain gas station around these parts, because it is the only place where you can get **bacon and cheese biscuits ** at anytime of day. This idea should be adopted by major fast food chains.

My absolute favorite meal anytime is Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, eggs. mmmmmmm

I love bean and cheese tacos or chorizo and potato tacos at any time of the day even though they are breakfast foods.

Pancakes! Any time of day or night, pancakes are quite a delight.

Bacon, eggs, and toast, any time of day, is fine with me!
