How often do you talk with/call your parents?

I talk to my mom almost every day. Calling on the cell phone means no long distance charges. DeHusband talks to his mother every week on Sunday afternoon.

Once a week, whether I want to or not. My wife talks to her mom nearly every day, though. Of course, my folks live roughly 1200 miles away, where hers live about 30 minutes away.

My mom lives 2500km South from here so I see her about twice a year, and we’re on the phone about once a month, usually for an hour or more. Then we MSN about once a week, and she sends out emails to the family occassionally with news and updates and pictures of the new home in Spain and stuff like that. I only sometimes mail back.

My dad and I chat fairly regularly but briefly on MSN, and we see each other about 6-10 times a year, and we rarely call - we’re fine with chatting over the internet.

I talk to my mom almost every day, and my dad about half that much. Then we all have dinner every Sunday, my two brothers, my sis, my grandma, and my kiddo. And sometimes I bring my fiance and one of my brothers brings his girlfriend.

I’m a female college freshman, age 18, a little over an hour away from home. I call my mom three to six times a week, depending on my schedule and whether or not she’s home when I try to call. I’ll talk to my dad if he picks up the phone, but he works a lot, so mostly we e-mail each other.

I generally hate the phone; my mom is the only person I like calling.
