David Simmons, I had truly forgotten your age. “You make me feel so young!” Rock on!
I’m 61. Sunstone and I are the same age. We’re the new forties…
Happy birthday, Starving Artist! I know I’m late by a few days, but I assume that you have extended your celebration into the weekend. A little pinot noir, thank you! To good times! Oops! I seem to have spilled my drink on Roger. A little club soda should get that out…
Of course the party continues, Zoe…here, a glass of my very best Pinot Noir for you. (First roger, then SnakeSpirit, and now the charming and delightful Zoe! What an entertaining salon is beginning to form.)

“Here’s to good wine and conversation. I’m honored to count you among my friends. Cheers and best wishes to you all!”
Starving Artist I’d lift a glass of that port to you (in belated Birthday Celebration) but I just can’t be trusted with port (is it a tawny?) Well, maybe just one, for my birthday. Well, only one at a time…staggers away singing, “Happy Birshday to usssshhhhh! Happy Birshday to ussssshhhhh! >>Hic<<!”
What is interesting to me is that the vast majority of names that I recognize are over 40 years of age. I’ve often pondered that my earlier reticence (like many others my age)to avoid getting involved with a computer might very well have precluded my enjoyment of participating in this forum.
