And while I haven’t felt like a teenager for a long time, I still get disturbed when I look in the mirror and see my grandmother staring back. Although my hair hasn’t turned grey, thanks to the genetics from Dad’s side.

My mother was born in early 1940. She has three sons. The oldest will turn 43 this year. He’s 6 years older than her youngest son. The ages of her two younger children add to ten years more than her age. I’m the middle son.

I don’t know how to feel about that.
