How sensitive are TV companies?

I’ve emailed ITV suggesting they not hire Julie Etchingham. I’ve known people who’ve escaped extermination - WW2 and more modern. Her remark was singularly and completely offensive.

How many such emails would they have to receive before they took action?

They’d need many thousands…maybe more. Might be better to try and mail their sponsors/advertisers for that show telling them you’ll boycott their products. Again they’d need many thousands of those to take notice but money talks.

Did she mean “I think immigrants should be exterminated” or “he’s a Tory, he probably really thinks they should all be exterminated”? Not that it makes a difference, it’s still bad taste and even if they don’t drop her it is a classic career limiting move.

The latter, according to the link.

TV Companies or Programing Networks?

God forbid a news anchor act like a human being and make a joke that some people would consider to be in bad taste at a time when her mic was supposed to be turned off…
