How should I go about publicising these?

Hello, long time lurker yadadaa

Now that you know me like an old friend, perhaps you could give me some advice: I have two domains to sell (possibly of the evil captor variety, although they could be used for humour sites as well*), and I’ve stuck them on ebay - I’m not going to provide direct links unless that would be ok with the mods.

Anyway, how would you go about promoting these ebay listings on the web, because in my opinion the domains are quite unique and could potentially get a fair bit of publicity in the ‘funnies’. Or maybe I’ve got too high an opinion of them - either way, hopefully you guys can be of some assistance…

Not only is it not OK to post links to your eBay auctions, it’s not OK to post links to your domains, as that is advertising them.

OK then - how far can I go in describing the kind of domains that they are, so that the question makes the most sense?

Since I saw them before Lynn removed them, I can help. I’d describe them as “useless for any mature purpose”.

You’ve got too high an opinion of them. Adults, as opposed to adolescents who have aged, don’t find rape funny.

I’m not asking for judgements on the domains themselves, more about effectively marketing them.

Actually, you asked how to describe the domains, and I helped you, and you asked if you had too high an opinion of them, and Lynn answered. That you don’t like the answers doesn’t mean you didn’t ask the questions.
