No, that was more muscle memory from typing “litigation” tens of thousands of times and “ligation” hardly ever.
On reading it more closely, I doubt it’s even legal for a city in California to create a civil cause of action, as provision 0.40 seems to try to do. (I live in a strict Dillon’s Rule state, so maybe I’m wrong, but I strongly suspect this provision is utterly void ab initio.)
I still don’t believe the claim that it would prohibit giving or getting a tubal ligation, or condoms. I think that’s one of those “We hate this, so let’s make up bad shit about it,” tactics.

ETA: And I agree that there is nothing in the legislation that would prevent tubal ligation or condoms (unless we are reaaalllyyy stretc ing the beginnings ofbiological development).

The husband of one of my cousins works for some Christian law firm…he was actually spreading the word on his blog that the protestors were throwing used tampons and yelling “hail Satan”. I think his poor wife actually believes this crap.

My bad and I mean this non-sarcastically. I thought it was a group of people, and even remembered a name I was wrong on, but instead I can only find posts by magellan01 explaining how taking away tampons and trashing diabetes medication is OK because of these non-existent jars of shit.
And really, when magellan01 is ignorant and hateful about the health of women and others parroting lies given to him by conservative websites, it’s not really news. It’s just Tuesday.
Quality of mercy is not strained. They should have the option of lethal injection in lieu of a Bricker chastisement. Cruel, certainly. Perhaps not that unusual…
