Where is the best place to download music? I have never downloaded before. Using an IPad or IPhone if that matters. Any advice would also be appreciated.

Amazon is an obvious first place. Look for band websites.
iTunes store is probably easiest for iPad/iPhone.
Archive.org has an enormous amount ox extraordinarily great music. Free and legal.
