OK, I know this is a dumb question, but I can’t get a signature I’ve come up with to show. What obvious thing have I overlooked doing? I’d appreciate it if someone could give me the word on this.
If you use the Quick Reply editor, you have to check the “Show your signature” box on the bottom right. If you use the more advanced reply editor, scroll down to the Miscellaneous Options section and check “Show your signature.” You’ll have to do this for each post you want your signature to show in–there’s no option to have it do so by default.
You may also want to check your User CP (top left, in the menubar), “Edit Options” and make sure you don’t have the option to hide signatures enabled. I’m not sure whether it would hide your own or not though.
