I moved into a new apt and I’ve got these crickets that wont stop chirping! Its driving me f’n nuts! The problem is when ever I go to find the little bastards; i.e. underneath the stove or what have ya I can’t find them becuase they stop chirping. Does anybody know how to get rid of them? or at least make them stop chirping? Please help I’m almost to the point where I want to break out my sawedoff shotgun and start blowing holes in my new apartment.

try vacuuming up the little corners and crevices where they might be hiding. If that fails,

Set up some “roach motels”, glue traps for insects.
I know that you’re in an apartment, but to keep them from coming into the building, make sure there’s no brush or decaying plant material, like mulch right next to the building. Also, make sure that the foundation is sealed.
If they’re ok crickets why do you want to get rid of them?
