We want to move from one work laptop to another, but the important thing is to take Acrobat 5 to the new laptop, as that is the real workhorse for its purpose. What are the steps necessary to transfer the software to the new computer?
Deactivate the license on the old computer (under Help menu). Install using original CD on new computer with original license key and activate. Update as far as you can.
In previous post, replace “CD” with “online download” if necessary. Adobe is better than most at keeping your user/purchaser account easy to use – if that’s where you downloaded it originally, you shouldn’t have a problem doing it again without paying again.
