When I go to make a post, the tick box “Show your signature” is always checked by default. Is there a way to uncheck it by default?

If you are using the old skin:
Go to User CP in the upper left of the page.
Under “Your Control Panel” on the left of the page, go to “Settings and Options.”
Under “Thread Display Options,” uncheck “Show Signatures.”
My understanding is that this doesn’t work in the new skin.
Yeah, it doesn’t. I just deleted my signature. All better.
AND furthermore, it’s been reported in one or more threads along with other lingering bugs in the new skin, with utterly no indication that any of TPTB care or are even paying any more attention.
