Well, like I said to another poster above, we’ll have to agree to disagree.
I don’t need to stick to a budget when going out to eat with my kids, so I don’t have the same view that you have. They know not to waste the food, and to eat what they order, so I’m satisfied with that. Actually, they don’t consider going to a restaurant a treat anyway, they would rather eat at home, but sometimes I don’t feel like cooking so that’s when we go.
