Does anyone have a remedy to get rid of stains made by a Chapstick left in with my laundry?
I have tried Spary and Wash and another stain remover (can’t remember brand name). They both took out some of the stain but it is still there. These were brand new shirts that were ruined and I am looking for any help to get this out.
FYI, the labels says to wash in cold water.
Drycleaning, or scrubbing with a solvent should do it. They sell little cans of solvent based stain removers in the laundry aisle; with names like Goo-Be-Gone or StainMeister. Any of these hydrocarbon based products, or gasoline for that matter, should dissolve the grease for you.
Thaiks 'll see what I can find. Do you think Oxy Clean would be ok? I don’t want to ruin the shirts even more. I want to make sure it is color safe.
