:smack: I just now put things together here. Looking at moon earlier. . .it looked kinda odd. . .neat but odd. Reading about lunar eclipse for a while.
Then all of a sudden. . .bam! Those two things are related! Well, at least I figured it out in the same day/night.
Looks around suspiciously Hrm, I’ll have to check my snack supply. I do have Pop Tarts, graham crackers, Teddy Grahams, and Goldfish. Those are the kids’ though, my stash is very well hidden.
I can’t say I’ve ever had the pleasure of hearing a child hitting the toilet until tonight. Must be a boy thing. Oldest Child fell in once, but she was ten, and the cries were more of disgust.
My own mother will ask to this day what I did to my children if they start crying when she’s around. Drives me batty! I torture my kids for fun! Not for pain!
Speaking of children, the Middle Princess asked tonight if she could take classes this summer. She’s in KG. I asked her why, and she said, “How else am I going to learn things over the summer?”. Like she couldn’t believe it. So I’ll be looking into classes for her it sounds like. This one, if she keeps it up, will be the one to look out for. I just know it.
Thats it for me for the night though. Turning in now!
Actually, I do have something… Dotty, **TagFree **-- when you hear a crash and then, immediately, crying, you can be pretty sure things are most likely within the bounds of “it will heal sometime before they get married.”
It’s when things go all quiet that you need to be very very worried…
What really freaks me out is the split-second-that-lasts-a-lifetime pause between crash and wail. Like the time HRH took a nose-dive off our bed - she hit the ground, there was deafening silence for an eternal millisecond, then a heart-rending scream! I think my heart stops in that moment of silence.
Over in the new game forum I am proposing a game-style weekly thread, something to combat you MMP no-gooders. Finally, my dream of defeating the MMP can come to fruition!
beebs, we cannot be defeated. (See above.) And we’re so nice that many of us will probably join you in the weekly game thread (at least from time to time). So, there!
Why is it morning already? And why do I have to go to work. It’s possible that today is my Friday (since I worked the hoiday on Monday, I might get to take tomorrow instead; assuming I can get enough stuff done today).
Pretty moon last night. When I last looked, it red with some dark gray. Very cool.
Damned clouds. Spuds, one of the fringe benefits of being a fireman is that I get an automagic pass on jury duty. Well, that, and I know everyone in the Cottonfield County Sheriff’s Department, so I’ll be tainted as far as impartiality is concerned…
Since everyone is griping about stoopit pets, I have one annoying foster cat and two foster pups that I’ll pay someone to take away.
Hope it has a bathtub (re-reading my earlier post wants me to take a bubble bath again tonight…).
mmmm bubbles…
(OK- must eat breakfast and go to work… sigh. This is more fun.).
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ here. Today is the offical “Grand Opening” at work, so I don’t need to be there til around noonish. For reasons unknown to moi (and reasons I don’t care to know) there’s a cleanin’ crew in this mornin’ to spiff the place up. We’ll have N.O.L., a ribbon cutting deal, then get talked at by the state Insurance Commissioner. Be still my beating heart!
The eclipes was waaaaaaaaaaay jake last night! I had a great view of it. I sat out by the pool and watched it from the swing. All by myself though. Ol’ y’all know who couldn’t stay up to watch it all. He goes in waaaaaaaaaay early everyday, poor thing.
[del]Great snacks[/del] Hope no one stole all your snacks Tagfree.
