I need to use wechat b/c i need to speak with someone from the usa. Im currently in canada at the moment. I use aim and skype but the person only uses aim and tells me he is on wechat all day on his phone so i could talk with him. So of course i go and try to download wechat but i cannot do this on my itouch because it requires a phone number to receive a text message. Im in canada and dont have a cell phone just a landline. I have google voice number but i assume i cant receive a text message from it? I know i couldn’t receive a text from bank of america with google voice.
I downloaded the program to install wechat on my laptop computer. But i cannot set it up b/c it requires a full number where it would send a text number to. I have landline but that doesnt receive text message. Anyone know a way i can get through this?
