I remember a later show, Kate & Alley. In one episode they claim to be lesbians to their landlord because of some issue with their lease. The comic complication being that their landlord is also a lesbian and comes out to them. Did *Three’s Company * ever have Jack get hit on by another guy? I can’t really believe that it would. It seems a little over the top for the time. But maybe…
I’m sure this happened on at least a couple occasions much later in the series, though Jack was in drag, and the guy hitting on him didn’t realize he wasn’t a woman. Whether a genuinely homosexual man attempted to hit on Jack, knowing full well that he was also a man, I don’t recall, but I’ll be sure to post here if and when I get to such an episode.
