Pain in the neck just closing the darn page … I never made it to the quiz itself, I just got the same message afflicting Morgyn et al.

In all browsers: “A script in this movie is causing Macromedia Flash Player 7 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script? yes/no”

Selecting “no” and letting it churn away for awhile just causes the msg prompt to reappear a moment or two later.

I can’t be arsed to bother with a quiz that hasn’t been vetted for cross-platform compatibility.

Weird. My Firefox handled it like a pro. No pop-ups. No warnings. Nothing about getting new flash. No nothing. Just got the quiz and took it. Didn’t even have to wait for an email to get my score as it puts you at the top of the list of scores at the end. I’m using 1.0.6 which I put in recently as well as got my flash from them just recently. You(plural) are out of date perhaps?

Crashed IE completely, just got the flash error in Netscape.

No offence, but Flash does suck mightily. I can’t open the page without major slowdowns on my machine.

I’m using 1.0.6, too. Of course, I’m running Flash Blocker, but I clicked on the “play” button which usually works with Flash objects.

HOWEVER - I couldn’t get the damned test to work either. I used Firefox, IE, Opera even Netscape. Each browser showed all kinds of pop-up crap. They also displayed the warning that “a script on this page is causing (enter browser name of your choice) to run slow. Do you want to Abort?”
I also used a different computer but that didn’t work either.

When it asked me to turn my head and cough, that was it for me. HARUMPH !!!
